life n style

my life at work is measured in half hour segments. for every half hour of my working life, im spose to make the bank as much money as humanly possible. and i hate every minute of it. (i said it before hate is a strong word, and i dislike using it. but there r jus no words that can suffice the truth of the matter.)
when i wus younger ive always thought/dreamt that when i grow up id like to work downtown, ukno in an office, be able to wear power suits like a nice skirt with a fancy jacket n heels and look all professional. well i made all that happen (well, ok but not the downtown part). i have an office, i have sumbody who looks after my appointments and schedule, and best of all i get to wear wut i want. except that im extremely unhappy and dissatisfied.
i saw michelle saturday and we had a long deepnmeaningful. there she is luving every waking moment of her career life, and money is jus like a nice bonus unlike me, money is all the motive. so i finally decided that im gona have to do sumthing about it. yes the glass is still half full. oh and did i tell u i jus finished the book undomestic goddess? hah. hence the blogging? its one of those moments when u tell urself, ohmygawd its my life in a book!

i got sum pics from saturday. it wus neeraj's bday. jus us from work, michelle and a bunch of people from banker's hall we hardly kno.

but neways thats me, michelle and her fab filagree fendi, chris (my bestflamboyant gay friend aka my boyfriend), and afsheen (brown version of paris hilton minus the skanky-ness, lols, its a joke). and a photo of me and audrey, its so cool i jus had to post it.
michelle asked me to apply for the new dior at holt renfrew. *dreamy*
well since she started working, ive got copious access to new merchandise and freestuff. mostly from the cosmetics dept. meaning i waste more n more time for my daily 'regimen'. creme de la mer, which everyone raves about, retails at around 250$ for the teeny tiny bottle and 1600$ for the bigger one, perfume samples (prada, valentino, MJ, missoni et all), tarte skin primer (which i completely adore) and the entire line at kiehl's (u have to try the coconut protein shampoo).

ooh i got and my hair done the other day. since fall is coming, i decided to go darker. or at least get rid of my strawberry blonde highlights, which i missss. so my hairdresser tried to bleach my entire head (to help the colours stick to my asian hair), but that didnt work. so i ended up with copper, black and a bit of blonde. and it looks great. still have to get used to it, is all.

at the moment...my lil sister is attempting to organize my endless stack of fashion magazines (by month/season). man, i lurve her to bits. im gona have to go, poor kid, itll take her daysss.

except that im not. and i watched the finals at home. and shopping, yea shopping. :D


last time i blogged about the 2 of them wus the first round of wimbledon. and yea poor rissshhard i actually like him a lot. he's sorta old school, like feds. he blazed thru the first set, but wut a choker. u kno matches like these jus show why feds is number one. he can find a way to whoop ur ass eventho hes rusty n burnt out (see video bellow). i think he played the entire week, in his standard, poorly. pretty much like halle this year. but hope that he ends it with a bang (ie win USOpen again) jus like he did at wimby.

so yea i did a bit of shoping this weekend. jus bits n pieces here n there. i fell in lurv with these shoes. its enzo angiolini, retails at around 180 bux, but got them for only half. man gota lurv end of the season sales. theyre not the most comfortable shoes, but hey they look amazing. and we all kno u always have to compromise comfort for style. its like murphy's law. (ok i lied, i still dont kno wut murphy's law is, i though it sounded smart). hah



i wore them today along with my pencil skirt and mustard button down (both from jacob).
