its mums birthday today. yay. we had dinner out, then desserts personally delivered from moxies haha. man i wish i can get cocktails to go. *dreamy*
i got her a pair of diamond earrings in white gold from ben moss. i kno nothing about fine jewellry (sp?), so when my brother said we have to go in 2 mins. i jus picked out wutever looked nice. i think i did a swell job.. no speck of gaudy-ness.

ok wut is up with men n jeans? i wus talkin to my brother earlier, he complained how his designer jeans got all stained at work. i asked how much were the jeans for.
he said: 180.
me: whaaaaat??
him: its only 180.

so he justifies this by saying that jeans are a staple, and u need spotless quality cuz u get to wear it everyday. and compared to women, men really doesnt have that wide of a variety when it comes to clothing.
well i say.. shoes, makes the entire outfit. its not an outfit without the perfect shoes. there.

so its lito eric's birthday tomorrow (i kid u not), and all he wants for a present is a lavalamp, oh and over the hedge cake. lols i kno. we offered xbox360, new games, nintendo and he said no to all of them, its so cute. the cake, i could probably stop by DQ, so im sure it woulndt be a problem. now, where on earth do we find lavalamps???

on november... i could either...
tag along with my dad, and take a short holiday back home (phils) spend around 1200 for the plane ticket, and as my mom said do some mad shopping, cuz 1500 is like 60k in pesos. so i might have to shell out 3k for this trip. but at the same time bring back a truck load of sht. (well ok, i honestly do not kno how far 60k pesos can get me to)

i can buy myself a couple of designer shoes.. louboutin platformsssss
or
i can get a brand new car, and use the cash for the down payment
or
i can go to hawaii..mahalo

i got a new phone. yay. im jus so glad that im gettin rid of my old beat up cellphone.

its head to toe urban behaviour (not literally cuz the wedges are from nine west). i fell in lurv with the store, its like the canadian h&m. k the quality, is kinda shady. but if u fancy the trendy u-gota-have-it-this-season pieces then this store is a guilty pleasure all to itself. for this outfit i belive i spent close to 65 bux. and thats for like 4 pieces. the vest, poplin shirt, cropped pants and the layered necklace.

ok i jus took this one, off the bat. u can tell. i have yet to learn the artistic imagery and technique of being a camerawhore.

so while we wait for the epic holt renfrew discount, i went ahead and did some shopping. some, meaning very little (ok its apart from the other shopping that i did a couple days ago). i bought a new pencil skirt, a couple of tops n some makeup.
im starting to like the benefit brand. the packagings are soo cute and they come up with the freshest ideas. i bought their highlighter, called moon beam, after shopping around chanel dior lancome clinique stila et all - they jus dont have nething that i wus looking for. and so far, im luvin it, and it only cost me like 25 bux.
im addicted to pencil skirts these days. u can dress them up, i would actually prefer it as a goinout outfit than jeans. and can be very professional. in fact, i think it helped me get an offer at BMO. for my interview, i wore all-jacob, a black pencil skirt, a silk brown top, my white basketweave coat and sky high stilletos (ok i should take some credit, cuz i think i aced my interview). i can almost remember the manager giving me a onceover, and me looking back (with inaudible, yea i got it bitch).

if theres a way to stay awake n rally till 7am, i will. its the nadal-fed head to head, and really, if ur a tennis fan, this can easily be the match of the year. and yes, wut a better way to end this years wimby. i kno whos gona win, u kno whos gona win, fk even my fish kno whos gona win. i jus cant wait for fed to get his revenge, and give the moonballer and his ugly style of play a beating. oh yea, its stampede, yeehaww!! the gurls n i were gona go downtown to see nelly furtado, but decided to go to toad n turtle instead n have a few drinks. its been a loong long week n really, everyones jus tired so we didnt forego.
michelle..who i lurv bcuz..we get along so well.. we're neighbours..and yea we have the same style, taste, shopping habits/addictions...yea michelle might be leaving us, and moving to HOLT RENFREW's cosmetics dept. yea our dream job. im so excited for her. yea i cant find neone else whos so identical to me. we shop at the same store and websites (mexx at market, holt, sephora, jacob et all), we share the same passion (makeup n shoes, oh and yea ok clothes too), same taste in men (a man who can wear a sport coat with jeans, a must), same little addictions (celeb magazines, perezhilton, popsugar, endlesssss subscriptions to fashion magazines) and many more odd lil things that we have in common. shes priceless, and im going to miss her. for the , erm 3 or 4 years that ive been working, ive seen soo many people come and go. and u kno how sumbody leaves, u always promise to keep in touch and stay friends. i jus hope that her n i do.
cuz i regret that ive lost touch to some of them. and i misss them dearly..katrina, one of the funniest and hottest, if i wus a lezzer....haha jk, sahar, who i lurv to death, i wish to see her soon, ariel, who we still prank call, such a great guy all around, i miss his dried mangoes, and weekly newspapers, april, my mentor my other mum such an inspiration, joanne, the ultimate bigboldnbeautiful, i still squeel when i see her.

its the long weekend. woot! woot! obviously im not outdoors, like most of u canadian folks do, i actually prefer to stay in and not be eaten alive by those damn mosquitos. no, but we were spose to go to victoria, but we find that the long weekend is too short. hah. get it?
tanya, audrey n i went out last night for a dinnermovie. in theory it wus a beautiful night/day for a table at the patio. so we had one. and those pesky mosquitos were everywhere. bad idea. for some reason, these ones are a hybrid cuz no citronella candles are of work. it wus a sight. tanya: look they bit me in my eye. me: get off me u motherf*rs !#@@# audrey: they really wont leave us alone would they (in her thick french accent, that only a chosen few can understand). but nonetheless we had fun, and picked up a few boys. haha.
dinner wus good.. and the movie wus good.
we watched The Devil Wears Prada. i luvd it, and prefer it than the book itself. they changed a bit of the storyline, and made it so much more interesting. meryl streep, i applaud, one of the best actors around.
it wu funny how grown men came out to actually see it. me: is it jus me, or 2 big honkin adult male jus sat down next to us. and theyre not even the metro kind. i mean big fat balding men. interesting i kno. tanya on the otherhand, still pretends shes all that chic. she cooed over when they mentioned blahnik, and jumped up n down n said, ooh look audrey its karl lagerfield!!! me: its valentino u dumbass. haha. ok i didnt really say dumbass. its funny cuz she doesnt even kno wut fashion house he designs for. interesting i kno. this is the chick who 'claims' to have prada, chanel, versace, gucci et all. right. but none of us, or neone for that matter, has seen a piece, never. like, when i pulled out my prada glasses, she goes and asks me how much i got it for, she went and said, why would i spend so much money on glasses. haha. yea u can say, shes a lil pretentious. lols. which really, makes her funny and amusing, and bareable. we luv her for that. oh, and shes throwing a sex toys party, itll be fun, im gona have to take some pics!!!
